Delta to Link Cincinnati with Austin and Phoenix

DSC_5025Delta Air Lines announced it will launch new flights from . In addition, the carrier said that it will increase its number of flights to existing destinations from the airport this year.

Flights to Austin will begin on May 1, and will operate every day of the week except for Saturday. Flights will depart Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport at 9:50 a.m. and arrive at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at 11:25 a.m. Return flights are scheduled to depart at 11:55 a.m. and arrive at 3:25 p.m.

The carrier’s service to Phoenix will be daily, and will begin on November 4. Flights will depart Cincinnati at 7:30 a.m. and arrive at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport at 9:30 a.m., with flights from Phoenix to Cincinnati departing at 5 p.m. and arriving at 11:05 p.m.

In addition to the new flights, Delta will increase its seasonal summer to year-round flights beginning on March 2. The carrier will also begin using larger aircraft on certain routes, including switching from a 76-seat regional jet to a Boeing 717 on its service to Fort Myers, Florida on May 1, and from a Boeing 717 to McDonnell Douglas MD-90 on flights to Denver in December.
