Apple added the Lane Guidance feature to its Maps App for users in Austria, South Africa, and Switzerland.

Lane Guidance displays the lane the driver should be in via a floating black information panel that disappears after it’s no longer needed. Lane guidance is also provided via Siri’s voice prompts.

The feature is available both directly on the iPhone as well as when using Apple CarPlay.

The move brings the total number of countries where the feature is available to 14. In addition to the three newly added nations, the list of supported countries includes Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
