DSC_0587American Express Global Business Travel announced Friday that it plans to acquire Hogg Robinson Group, a company specializing in travel, payments, and expense management, for £410 million ($566 million).

The deal, if approved, would take place in the second quarter of this year.

“I am particularly excited and heartened by American Express GBT’s reassurance that it will be utilizing the best talent and technology from within both organizations to create a truly world-class, leading-edge organization,” said David Radcliffe, CEO of Hogg Robinson Group.

Hogg Robinson also said that it had sold Fraedom, its payments and expense management software-as-a-service business, to Visa in a £141.8-million deal.
