Virgin Atlantic announced that it will introduce four new Airbus A330-200 aircraft to its fleet beginning in March, each one equipped with three new types of suites in its Upper Class cabin, namely the Love Suite, the Solo Freedom Suite, and the Solo Corner Suite.

The Love Suites, consisting of two individual seats, are located in the center of the cabin, and offer direct aisle access. The suites are designed for couples or groups to travel, dine, watch movies, and even work together, Virgin said.

The Solo Freedom Suites and Solo Corner Suites are designed for individual travelers, each with direct aisle access as well, while the Solo Corner Suites offer more privacy and window seats.

The cabins will also feature “extra touches such as a barista style coffee menu and free Wi-Fi messaging,” said Phil Maher, executive vice president at the airline.

There will be 19 seats in total in the new Upper Class cabins. Virgin said that the four A330-200s will initially be put into service on the carrier’s routes from Manchester to New York, Boston, San Francisco, and Barbados.
