Icelandair to Restart Service to Baltimore After 10-Year Absence

DSC_0066 (1)Icelandair said Wednesday it plans to relaunch seasonal service to Baltimore, Maryland, in the spring.

“The time is right for Icelandair to return to BWI,” the airline said in a statement.

The Reykjavik-based carrier discontinued flights to Baltimore over a decade ago.

The airline will operate the flights four times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with return flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Flights will depart Baltimore-Washington International Airport at 8:35 p.m. local time and arrive in Iceland at 6:20 a.m. the following day. Return flights will leave at 5:05 p.m. and arrive in Baltimore at 7:25 p.m.
