Delta to Begin New Boston-Charleston Service, Increase Frequency to Jacksonville, Pittsburgh

DSC_4940Delta Air Lines announced on Tuesday it will begin new daily flights from Boston to Charleston, South Carolina on June 8. In addition, the carrier said that it plans to increase the frequency of service from Boston to four cities this summer.

Flights to Charleston will depart Boston at 10:40 a.m. and arrive at 1:05 p.m. Return flights are scheduled to depart at 1:35 p.m. and arrive at 3:55 p.m.

Delta will use Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft on the route, equipped with 12 seats in first class, 20 in Delta Comfort+, the carrier’s premium economy lite section, and 44 seats in economy.

The airline will also increase service from Boston to Jacksonville and Kansas City from once to twice daily on June 9, and flights to Nashville and Pittsburgh from twice to thrice daily.

Also on June 9, Delta will begin Saturday seasonal service from Boston to Aruba.
