New Hyatt Ski Resort Opens in La Rosière, France

DSC_0077Hyatt Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of a new Hyatt Centric property in the center of Franco-Italian La Rosière, a popular skiing destination in France. The Hyatt Centric Rosière is the first of the brand’s properties in France, and the first Hyatt ski resort in Europe.

Situated at an elevation of 6,069 feet (1,850 meters), the hotel offers 69 guestrooms and suites, including 12 family suites. Each room has underfloor heating and provides views of the mountain.

The property is adjacent to the ski slopes, and offers direct access to ski lifts.

Guests can dine at the hotel’s Italian restaurant, La Tavola, which offers various wines and cuisine from the Aosta region of Italy. Brasserie H40 features French brasserie-style dishes, as well as a buffet breakfast, armchairs, and an open fireplace, while Surus Lounge Bar serves a wide range of tea, coffee, infusions, and rum from around the world.

An indoor pool is located on the premises, as well as a sauna, steam room, and outdoor hot tub. Yoga classes are also available for guests.

In addition to ski-related activities, the property also offers other winter fun such as paragliding, dogsledding, and snowshoe walking.
