Air Canada, British Airways to Offer New Destinations from Toronto Pearson

Air Canada check-in counters in Toronto

Several airlines including Air Canada and British Airways plan to offer new service from Toronto Pearson International Airport starting next summer.

Air Canada said that it plans to begin service from the airport to Providence, Rhode Island; Omaha, Nebraska; Nanaimo and Kamloops, British Colombia; and Buenos Aires, Argentina. The carrier will also operate new routes to Europe, including flights to Bucharest, Romania; Zagreb, Croatia; Porto, Portugal; and Shannon, Ireland.

British Airways will launch thrice weekly service to London Gatwick, while Primera Air will begin thrice weekly service to Birmingham and London Stansted Airport, as well as four weekly flights to Paris.

In addition, Ukraine International Airlines will begin three weekly flights to Kiev and a new Canadian carrier, Flair Air, will offer service from Toronto to Edmonton and Kelowna.
