Tianjin Airlines Begins First Route to Australia

DSC_4666Tianjin Airlines announced the launch of new service between Chongqing, China and Melbourne, Australia. The route is the carrier’s first to Australia.

Flights will depart Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 10:10 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive at Melbourne Airport at 11:40 a.m. the next morning. Flights from Melbourne to Chongqing are scheduled to depart at 1:40 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving at 9:10 p.m.

In addition to the Chongqing-Melbourne route, Tianjin Airlines plans to begin Tianjin-Zhengzhou-Sydney service on January 29.

Flights will depart Tianjin at 1:10 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays and arrive in Zhengzhou at 2:35 p.m. Flights will then depart at 4:35 p.m. and arrive in Sydney at 6:30 a.m. the next morning. Flights will depart Sydney headed for Zhengzhou at 4:25 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays, arriving at 4:25 p.m. From Zhengzhou, flights will depart at 7:25 p.m. and arrive back in Tianjin at 8:50 p.m.
