DSC_0703 (1)Delta Air Lines announced that it plans to debut its Delta One cabin on various long-haul domestic routes next year. In addition, the carrier said that it would begin to offer complimentary upgrades to all Medallion members of its Delta SkyMiles loyalty program.

On April 1, 2018, Delta will launch Delta One on select flights on its Boston-Los Angeles, JFK-San Diego, and JFK-Seattle routes, as well as its JFK-Las Vegas route on May 1.

The carrier will also offer Delta One on one daily flight beginning April 1 on its Atlanta-Honolulu and Minneapolis-Honolulu routes.

Also on April 1, Delta will begin offering unlimited complimentary upgrades on the day of departure to all SkyMiles Medallion members. The upgrades apply to all domestic flights.

Delta is adding the new Delta One routes by swapping aircraft with some transatlantic routes, including New York to Reykjavik and Shannon, where it will discontinue Delta One service and replace it with premium economy service using aircraft with a domestic first-class cabin.
