The Los Angeles Auto Show returned to the Convention Center and many automakers took advantage of the post-Thanksgiving event to introduce multiple new vehicles that will be available with Apple CarPlay, Apple’s in-vehicle touch-based display interface that functions as an extension of a driver’s iPhone.

Virtually every car manufacturer offers select vehicles that support CarPlay, including Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citroën, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Jeep, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Skoda, VW, and Volvo.

Vehicles that will soon have Apple CarPlay as a standard feature or option include 2018 models such as the BMW i3, BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, Hyundai Kona, Jeep Wrangler Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, and the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. CarPlay will also be available in many 2019 models including the Audi A8, Genesis G70, Lincoln MKC, Lincoln Nautilus, Mercedes-Benz CLS, Porsche Cayenne, Subaru Ascent, and the Volvo XC40.

Apple recently added several key features to CarPlay with the release of iOS 11 including lane guidance, speed limit info, and alternative routes.
