Alaska Airlines Begins San Diego-Mexico City Route

IMG_4341Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new service between San Diego and Mexico City. The route will be operated daily by SkyWest Airlines, using Embraer E175 aircraft.

Flights will depart San Diego International Airport at 7:05 a.m. and arrive at Mexico City’s Benito Juarez International Airport at 12:50 p.m. Flights from Mexico City to San Diego are scheduled to depart at 7:25 p.m. and arrive at 9:37 p.m.

Alaska’s Embraer E175s are equipped with 12 seats in first class, 12 seats in premium economy, and 52 seats in economy. First-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 42”.

The route is the carrier’s third non-stop to the Mexican capital from a West Coast City after Los Angeles and San Francisco.
