WestJet Begins Montreal-Boston Flights

DSC_0727WestJet announced the launch of new service between Montreal and Boston. The new route will be operated twice daily by WestJet Encore, the carrier’s low cost subsidiary.

Flights are scheduled to depart Montreal-Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport at 7:15 a.m. and 4 p.m., arriving at Boston’s Logan International Airport at 8:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., respectively Flights from Boston to Montreal will depart at 9:25 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. and will arrive at 10:57 a.m. and 7:47 p.m.

The carrier will operate the route using Bombardier Q400 aircraft, equipped with ten seats in economy plus and 68 seats in economy. Seats in economy plus are 17” wide and have a pitch of 31”.

The route is the third new service that WestJet has launched from Montreal this year.
