Mondrian Park Avenue Opens in Manhattan

368C0610 (1)Journal Hotels announced the opening of the Mondrian Park Avenue hotel in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood.

The property is located in close proximity to Madison Square Park, the Empire State Building, and the Flatiron District.

The Mondrian Park Avenue is housed in an office building originally built in 1918. The property has 189 guestrooms and suites.

Guests can dine at the hotel’s restaurant, Cleo, which offers Eastern and Southern Mediterranean cuisine. Additionally, the property has two nightclubs, Fifteen Stories, a rooftop lounge and bar, and Yours Truly, an underground venue with a hidden entrance.

NoMad, short for North of Madison Square Park, is a Manhttan neighborhood centered around the Madison Square North Historic District. Madison Square was the original site of Madison Square Garden and the neighborhood is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 30th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and Lexington Avenue to the east.
