A Kempinski Local Experience at the Vier Jahreszeiten

Kempinski announced significant changes to its Discovery guest loyalty program, effective immediately.

The changes, which vary by elite status level, include preferential rates, early check-in times, discounts on dining in Kempinski hotel restaurants, a free third night voucher, complimentary parking, a discount on dry cleaning and complimentary pressing of two articles of clothing.

The Kempinski Discovery program has three levels: Gold, with zero to nine nights at a Kempinski or Global Hotel Alliance property; Platinum, with ten to 29 nights or a $10,000 to $30,000 spend; and Black, with 30 or more nights or a spend greater than $30,000.

All members, regardless of level, receive complimentary coffee and pastry wake-up service as well as complimentary Internet access.

The hotelier said it is enhancing its Local Experience, an activity that can range from behind-the-scenes access to an event, a specific cultural experience, or an activity not generally available to the public.   These experiences include such items as an elephant ride in the jungle, an afternoon with the hotel’s tea sommelier learning about and preparing tea, or a visit to a typical Viennese Heuriger, a tavern for local wine in Austria.
