DSC_0340As Hurricane Nate continued to hammer at the East Coast on Monday, it brought with it heavy rains, gusty winds, and a high number of delays and cancellations at dozens of airports.

A day earlier it brought flooding and power outages to the Gulf Coast.

Now a tropical depression, Nate is slated to bring a swath of heavy rain from the Appalachians to parts of the Northeast through Monday.

New York-area airports led the nation in delays and cancellations, with almost 600 delays and 184 cancellations at LaGuardia, 350 and 38 at Newark Liberty, and 310 and 90 at John F. Kennedy International.
