The hotel, which first opened its doors to guests in 1927, said that the final phase, a series of meeting rooms on the third floor, was just completed.

The seven rooms can accommodate as many as 850 guests. The décor was inspired by Lake Michigan and uses shades of purple and blue as part of the décor.

Guestrooms and suites at the hotel were also refurbished and the 5,000-square-foot (464-square-meter) Conrad Hilton Suite was the beneficiary of a $1.8 million restoration.

Also updated was the property’s sun deck, which is adjacent to the pool. It received new daybeds and lounge chairs among other amenities.

Finally, the hotel undertook a complete renovation of its 10,080-square-foot (936-square-meter) Continental Ballroom, adding a color palette of cool blue and grey hues. Following the renovation, the ballroom can accommodate as many as 1,350 guests.
