Hainan Airlines to Link New York with Chongqing, Chengdu

IMGP4629Hainan Airlines announced two new routes linking New York with both Chengdu and Chongqing

The carrier began flights to Chongqing on October 21, and will launch new service to Chengdu on October 27.

Flights to Chongqing will depart New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport at 2:50 a.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive at 5:55 a.m. the next morning. Return flights are scheduled to depart at 10 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays and arrive at 12:50 a.m. the next day.

Flights to Chengdu will depart New York at 2:50 a.m. on Fridays and Sundays, and arrive at 5:55 a.m. the next morning. Flights from Chengdu to New York will depart at 10 p.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive at 12:50 a.m. the next day.

The carrier will operate both new routes using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, equipped with 36 lie-flat seats in business class and 177 in economy. Business-class seats are 22.5” wide and have a pitch of 74”.
