Air China to Launch Los Angeles-Shenzhen Flights

Air China announced that it will begin new service between Los Angeles and Shenzhen, China on December 7. The route will be the first non-stop between the two cities.

Flights are scheduled to depart Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport at 11:30 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving at Los Angeles International Airport at 8 p.m. From Los Angeles, flights will depart at 10:50 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and will arrive at 5:40 a.m. two days later.

Air China will operate the service using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, equipped with 30 lie-flat seats in business class, 34 seats in premium economy, and 229 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” wide.

The route will complement Air China’s existing thrice-daily service between Los Angeles and Beijing.
