DSC_0208Southwest Airlines and the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association said they have reached an agreement in principle for a five-year contract.

The agreement, the second between the two parties, “outlines” the union’s first contract, according to the airline. The union currently represents 37 members.

If ratified, it will include a set of work rules, a wage scale, and a ratification bonus.

The agreement is subject to final review by the union’s national executive committee before it is submitted for a vote.
