Finnair Offering Status Match to Air Berlin and Lufthansa Flyers

DSC_4882Finnair said it will offer members of Air Berlin’s topbonus frequent flyer program as well as Lufthansa’s Miles and More program an instant status match to Finnair Silver, which is also oneworld Ruby. In addition, the Helsinki-based carrier is offering a status challenge to Finnair Gold.

Benefits of Finnair Silver include one additional checked bag on Finnair flights, business-class check-in for all Finnair and oneworld flight, and access to priority security lanes. Travelers must enroll in the Finnair Plus frequent flyer program before applying for the match.

The status challenge to Finnair Gold requires flyers to collect 40,000 tier points or fly 23 qualifying flights before March 31, 2018.

Finnair Gold members will receive all the benefits of Finnair Silver as well as Finnair and oneworld business-class lounge access, four one-way upgrades on Finnair flights, and oneworld Sapphire status.
