American Express to Open New Centurion Lounge in Dallas, Add Lounge Access in Munich
American Express announced plans to build a larger Centurion Lounge at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and also added access to certain lounges at Munich Airport for Platinum and Centurion cardholders.
American Express is opening up a new Centurion Lounge that is 3,000 square feet (278 square meters) opposite the existing one, which is on the mezzanine in Terminal D near Gate 17.
The new lounge is expected to open in the first half of 2018 and will have three shower suites as well as private “telephone rooms.”
Platinum cardmembers will have access to Lufthansa Business Lounges in the Terminal 2 Satellite when flying Lufthansa, Swiss, or Austrian in any class of service and so the Lufthansa Senator ounges there when flying those airlines in business class. In addition, Centurion cardholders will have access to the Lufthansa First Class Lounge there regardless of the class of service flown.
In July, American Express announced plans to expand its Centurion lounge at Miami International Airport. That lounge will have an outdoor terrace and additional interior space.
