Alaska Airlines to Operate San Francisco-New Orleans Route

DSC_0684-EDAlaska Airlines announced the launch of new daily service between San Francisco and New Orleans. The flights will be operated by Virgin America’s Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights will depart San Francisco International Airport at 8:48 a.m. and arrive at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport at 3:03 p.m. From New Orleans, flights are scheduled to depart at 4 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 6:30 p.m.

Virgin America’s A320s are equipped with eight seats in first class, 12 sets in Main Cabin Select, a premium economy lite section, and 126 seats in economy. First-class seats are 21” wide, with a pitch of 55”.

The new service is one of Alaska Airlines’ 33 routes to begin from California this year.
