Air China to Launch Beijing-Athens Route
Air China announced that it will begin new flights between Beijing and Athens, Greece on September 30. The carrier will operate the service twice a week using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Flights are scheduled to depart Beijing at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and arrive in Athens at 8:15 a.m. Flights from Athens to Beijing will depart at 2:15 p.m. and arrive at 4:30 a.m. the next morning.
Air China’s Airbus A330-200s are equipped with 30 lie-flat seats in business class and 207 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 80”.
With the addition of the new Athens service, Air China will offer 26 routes between China and Europe.
