Air Canada to Launch Two New Routes to Ireland

DSC_4872Air Canada announced that it will begin new service from Toronto to Shannon, Ireland, next June., The carrier plans to launch Montreal-Dublin service that same month.

Flights to Shannon will depart Toronto at 10 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive at 9:30 a.m. the next day. Flights from Shannon to Toronto are scheduled to depart at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and arrive at 12:45 p.m.

From Montreal, flights will depart at 9:15 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving in Dublin at 8:25 a.m. the next morning. Dublin-Montreal flights will depart at 10:20 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and will arrive at 12 noon.

Air Canada will operate the new routes using Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, configured in a two-class layout.

In addition, the carrier plans to transfer its existing Toronto-Dublin service, currently operated by Air Canada rouge, to Air Canada mainline on October 29 of this year.
