Second Largest Grand Hyatt to Open in South Korea

DSC_0230Hyatt Hotels and Resorts announced plans to open a new property in Jeju City, South Korea in the near future. The Grand Hyatt Jeju is slated to be the second largest Grand Hyatt property in the world.

The hotel will have 1,600 guestrooms and suites, as well as indoor and outdoor pools. The property will also have a fitness center and two spas with a total of eight treatment rooms, as well as two kids clubs.

Approximately 12,916 square feet (1,200 square meters) of meeting and event space will be located on the premises. The hotel will also offer 11 different dining options.

The property will be the sixth Hyatt hotel located in South Korea.

Jeju City is situated on Jeju Island, the largest island located off the Korean Peninsula. The island has a population of over 620,000.
