IMGP4629Mesa Airlines, which operates regional flights for American Airlines and United Airlines, and its flight attendants union announced that the two had reached a tentative agreement on a new contract.

The flight attendants are represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA.

The new four-year agreement would provide for an increase in salary and include work rule improvement, and would cover over 1,100 flight attendants.

The agreement “will finally make a difference for Mesa Flight Attendants and their families,” said Heather Stevenson, Association of Flights Attendants president at Mesa Airlines.

Mesa Airlines operates American Eagle flights from hubs in Phoenix and Dallas/Fort Worth and United Express flights from Washington Dulles and Houston.
