JetBlue to Partner with Azul
JetBlue Airways announced a new codeshare agreement with Azul Brazilian Airlines.
Under the new partnership, Azul will be able to place its code on JetBlue flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Orlando International Airport to various destinations.
Azul currently operates service to both Florida destinations from its hub at São Paulo’s Viracopos International Airport, as well as Recife/Guararapes–Gilberto Freyre International Airport.
Azul is currently Brazil’s largest carrier in terms of number of destinations. Both Azul and JetBlue were founded by David Neeleman, who also founded Morris Air and Westjet.
