Hilton Yantai Opens in China

DSC_0782Hilton Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of a new property in Yantai, China. The Hilton Yantai is the second of the hotel company’s properties to be located in the city.

The hotel occupies floors one through six and 26 through 4 of the Shimao Skyscraper, a 1,059-foot (323-meter) tall building in the city’s central business district. The property has 252 guestrooms and suites, each with a marble bathroom and a 42” LED TV.

The hotel has a fitness center and indoor pool, as well as over 17,781 square feet (1,652 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a 10,118-square-foot (940-square-meter) grand ballroom.

Dining options include Shi, which offer Western and Eastern cuisine; Yuxi, a Chinese restaurant that feature Sichuan dishes; and Lounge 26, which serves traditional Chinese afternoon tea and offers cocktails and other drinks. In addition, Su Gourmet features salads and healthy options.

In celebration of the opening, Hilton is offering members of its Honors guest loyalty program 1,000 bonus points per night for stays through February 7, 2018.

Yantai is a coastal city in eastern China’s Shandong province. It has a population of roughly seven million people.
