Delta to Link New York with Lagos, Nigeria

Delta Air Lines announced that it will begin new service to Lagos, Nigeria from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on March 24, 2017. The carrier will operate the service three times a week, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

Flights to Lagos’ Murtala Muhammad International Airport are scheduled to depart New York at 10:50 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and arrive at at 2:05 p.m. the next day. From Lagos, flights will depart at 10:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, arriving back in New York at 5:30 a.m. the next morning.

Delta’s Airbus A330-200s are equipped with 34 lie-flat seats in Delta One, 32 seats in Delta Comfort+, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and 168 seats in coach. Seats in the Delta One business-class cabin are 21” wide and have a pitch of 80”.

Delta currently offers service to Nigeria’s largest city from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
