Alaska Airlines Links San Jose with Austin and Tucson

IMG_4341Alaska Airlines announced the beginning of new daily, non-stop service to Austin, Texas and Tucson, Arizona from San Jose, California on Monday.

Flights to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport depart at 8:45 a.m. and arrive at 2:05 p.m. Return flights to San Jose International Airport depart at 3 p.m. and arrive at 4:53 p.m.

Flights from San Jose to Tucson International Airport are scheduled to depart at 5:33 p.m. and arrive at 7:45 p.m. From Tucson, flights will depart at 7 a.m. and arrive back in San Jose at 9:27 a.m.

Alaska will operate both new routes using Embraer 175 aircraft, equipped with 12 seats in first class, 12 seats in premium economy, and 52 seats in economy. First-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 42”.

With the addition of the two new cities, Alaska will offer non-stop service to 18 destinations from San Jose.
