Alaska Airlines Begins Mexico City Flights from San Francisco, Los Angeles

Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new service to Mexico City from both San Francisco and Los Angeles. The carrier will operate both routes daily, and will add a second daily Los Angeles-Mexico City flight on November 6.

Flights from San Francisco will depart San Francisco International Airport at 9:55 a.m. and arrive at Benito Juarez International Airport at 4:20 p.m. From Mexico City, flights are scheduled to depart at 3:15 p.m. and arrive back in San Francisco at 5:53 p.m.

Flights from Los Angeles International Airport to Mexico City will depart at 8:26 a.m. and arrive at 1:55 p.m. Return flights will depart at 5:25 p.m. and arrive at 7:44 p.m.

Alaska Airlines will operate both new routes using Boeing 737 aircraft.

The second daily flight from Los Angeles will depart at 12:25 p.m. and arrive in Mexico City at 6:15 p.m. Return flights will depart at 1:35 p.m. and arrive at 3:54 p.m. Alaska will operate the additional flight using Embraer E175 aircraft.

Also on November 6, the airline plans to begin daily service between Mexico City and San Diego. Flights will depart San Diego at 7:05 a.m. and arrive in Mexico City at 12:50 p.m. Flights from Mexico City to San Diego are scheduled to depart at 7:25 p.m. and arrive at 9:37 p.m. The route will be operated using Embraer E175 aircraft.
