Turkish Airlines Begins Flights to Phuket
Turkish Airlines announced the launch of new service to Phuket, Thailand from Istanbul. The carrier will operate the service four times a week.
Flights will depart Istanbul Atatürk Airport at 2:30 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and arrive at Phuket International Airport at 4 a.m. the next morning. From Phuket, flights are scheduled to depart at 5:30 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive back in Istanbul at 12 noon.
The carrier will operate the flights using Airbus A330-300 aircraft, equipped with 28 lie-flat seats in business class and 261 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 61”.
The Thai city is the airline’s 300th destination.
