Southwest Airlines announced operational results for June 2017.
The carrier reported an increase in capacity and traffic, while its load factor was unchanged.
The airline’s total system traffic was 11.92 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, a year-over-year increase of 3.7% from 11.49 billion RPMs in June 2016.
The company reported a total system capacity of 13.64 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, up 3.8% from 13.15 billion the previous June.
Meanwhile, Southwest’s load factor for the month remained the same year-over-year, at 84.7%.
