JetBlue Airways announced operational results for June 2017. The carrier said that its total traffic and capacity were up, while its load factor dropped.

The New York-based airline’s passenger traffic was 4.08 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a year-over-year increase of 3.2% from 3.95 billion RPMs in the same period last year.

The carrier’s capacity also increased, up 4% to 4.77 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 4.59 billion ASMs in June 2016.

JetBlue’s passenger load factor for the month was 85.5% a 0.7 percentage point decrease from 86.2% last June.

The carrier said it expects second quarter RASM, or revenue per available seat mile, to increase by approximately 7% compared to the second quarter of 2016.
