As is our custom, we at FBT celebrate Independence Day in the United States, the Fourth of July, with captivating and patriotic sunsets.

While we’ll be watching the Boston Pops perform, accompanied by some star-spangled fireworks, there’s nothing like a beautiful sunset to gaze upon. As the sky changes to a vivid red from white and blue, Conductor Keith Lockhart will pick up his baton and be joined by the traditional fighter jet military flyover synchronized with the strains of the Star Spangled Banner to open the program at the Boston Esplanade.

To celebrate the holiday, we are pleased to present some of our favorite sunset photos from 35,000 feet.
