British Airways to Offer New Bedding and Amenities from the White Company in Club World Business Class

British Airways announced Tuesday that it will offer passengers in its Club World business-class cabin bedding and on-board amenities from the White Company, a British retailer.

The bedding will include a day cushion that doubles as a lumbar support when sitting, a large soft pillow with a white cotton pillowcase, a woven day blanket with satin trim, a padded mattress topper, and a duvet.

Club World passengers will receive a new amenity kit, in a bag designed by the White Company, containing an eye mask and products from the retailer’s Restore & Relax Spa Collection.

The new items will make their first appearance this fall on flights between London and New York. They will continue to roll out on all routes throughout 2018.

In addition to the new items, British Airways is changing several aspects of the cabin service to allow for greater sleep time. On nighttime flights, cabin crew will forego the use of a trolley to deliver meals and passengers will receive breakfast cards so they can indicate if they wish to be awakened for breakfast.

The British flag carrier plans to introduce, starting in 2019, an entirely new Club World business-class cabin in which all seats will have direct aisle access.
