British Airways to Begin London-Fort Lauderdale Flights

IMG_2019British Airways announced the launch of new service between London and Fort Lauderdale on Thursday. The carrier will operate the route four days a week, using Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.

Flights will depart London Gatwick Airport at 9:25 a.m. local time and arrive at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 1:45 p.m. Flights from Fort Lauderdale to London will depart at 5 p.m. and arrive back in London at 6:30 a.m. the following morning.

The 777-200ERs are equipped with 48 lie-flat seats in Club World, the carrier’s business class, 24 seats in premium economy, and 203 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 20” wide and have a pitch of 72”.

Fort Lauderdale will be the fourth city in Florida served by BA, after Miami, Tampa, and Orlando.
