Air Canada to Begin Montreal-Algiers Route

DSC_4877 (2)Air Canada announced the launch of new service between Montreal and Algiers, Algeria. The route will be operated four days a week, by Air Canada Rouge.

Flights will depart Montreal at 6:50 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Algiers at 7:40 a.m. the next day. From Algiers, flights are scheduled to depart at 10:10 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving in Montreal at 1:40 p.m.

Air Canada Rouge will operate the route using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, equipped with 24 seats in Premium Rouge, 36 seats in Rouge Plus, the carrier’s premium economy lite section, and 219 seats in economy. Seats in Premium Rouge are 18.5” wide and have a pitch of 37”.

The route is Air Canada’s second to North Africa from Montreal.
