Xiamen Airlines Begins Xiamen-Los Angeles Flights

IMG_8924Xiamen Airlines announced the launch of new service between Xiamen, China and Los Angeles. The route is the carrier’s third route to the United States, and its fourth to North America.

Flights will depart Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, arriving at Los Angeles International Airport at 6 p.m. From Los Angeles, flights are scheduled to depart at 12:15 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and arrive back in Xiamen at 5:30 a.m. the next day.

The carrier will operate the route using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. The planes are equipped with 287 seats in a two-class configuration, with 30 seats in business class and 257 in economy class.

In addition to the new route, Xiamen Airlines currently offers service to Seattle, Vancouver, and New York in North America. In addition, the carrier plans to launch Los Angeles-Qingdao-Xiamen service this December
