United Airlines announced on Tuesday plans to add 11 additional flights to the state as well as to use aircraft with lie-flat seating up front on multiple routes to and from the Aloha State.

The expansion would give the Chicago-based airline “the most flights between the mainland and the Hawaiian Islands than any other carrier,” it said in a statement.

The airline will move three Denver-based Hawaii routes from seasonal to year-round service and will increase frequencies from its hubs in Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

The expansion comes as United celebrates its 70th year offering service to Hawaii.

Starting this summer, United will offer lie-flat seats up front on overnight flights linking Hawaii to Denver International, George Bush Intercontinental, Newark Liberty International, and Washington Dulles airports.
