Hilton to Open New Resort in Sri Lanka

Hilton Hotels and Resorts announced that it plans to open a new DoubleTree by Hilton resort in Weerawila, Sri Lanka in the first quarter of next year.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Weerawila will be located in the town of Tissamaharama, on the banks of Lake Weerawila, in close proximity to the Weerawila Bird Sanctuary.
The hotel will have 140 guestrooms and suites.
Guests will have easy access to three popular wildlife sanctuaries in Sri Lanka, namely Yala National Park, Udawalawe National Park, and Bundala National Park. Also located close by is Matala International Airport.
