Hainan Airlines to Launch Shanghai-Tel Aviv Flights

IMG_3681Hainan Airlines announced that it will begin new service between Shanghai and Tel Aviv on September 12. The carrier will operate the route three days a week, using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

Flights will depart Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 1:25 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and arrive in Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport at 8:30 a.m. From Tel Aviv, flights are scheduled to depart at 1:55 p.m. and arrive back in Shanghai at 5:30 a.m. the next morning.

Hainan Airlines’ Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners are equipped with 30 lie-flat seats in business class and 258 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 22” wide and have a pitch of 74”.

The route will be the carrier’s second service to Tel Aviv, after its Beijing-Tel Aviv route that began in April 2016.
