Alaska Airlines announced detailed information about the transition from Virgin America’s Elevate frequent flyer program to Alaska’s Mileage Plan and when various Elevate partnerships will come to an end.

The Elevate program itself will be supplanted by Mileage Plan on January 1, 2018. The last date on which it will be possible to earn miles on Elevate by flying Alaska will be December 31, 2017.

The last date on which members may redeem Elevate points on Emirates, Hawaiian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and Virgin Australia will be September 30, 2017 for travel no later than January 15, 2018, while the last date on which members may earn Elevate points for travel on Emirates, Singapore, and Virgin will also be September 30.

Transfers from American Express’ Membership Rewards program will only be possible through October 31, 2017 and the points.com partnership will end on that day.

In addition, Virgin America’s partnership with Airbnb will end on June 30, 2017.
