AirAsia X Begins Kuala Lumpur-Osaka-Honolulu Route

DSC_0502AirAsia X, a long-haul subsidiary of AirAsia, announced the launch of new service to Honolulu from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with a stopover in Osaka, Japan. The carrier will operate the route four times a week.

Flights will depart from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 2 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, arriving at Osaka’s Kansai International Airport at 9:25 p.m. From Osaka, flights will then depart for Honolulu International Airport at 10:25 p.m. and arrive at 12:30 p.m.

Return flights are scheduled to depart Honolulu at 4 p.m., also on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Osaka at 8:25 p.m. Flights will then depart for Kuala Lumpur at 10 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, arriving at 4 a.m.

The route is the airline’s first to the United States.
