Air Canada to Link Vancouver with Nagoya, Frankfurt, Add 9 Additional International Routes

Air Canada announced the launch of new seasonal service from Vancouver to Nagoya, Japan and Frankfurt, Germany. In addition, the airline plans to launch nine additional new international routes from Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal this summer.

The flights to Nagoya will be offered four times a week and will be operated using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, while flights to Frankfurt will be operated daily using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners. On June 8, Air Canada will begin daily, year-round service to Taipei, as well as thrice-weekly seasonal service to London Gatwick from Vancouver.

From Toronto, the carrier will begin four weekly seasonal flights to Berlin on June 3, followed by four weekly seasonal flights to Reykjavik on June 21. The airline will then launch four weekly year-round flights to Mumbai on July 1.

The airline will begin thrice-weekly seasonal service from Montreal to Marseille on June 3, as well as thrice-weekly service to Tel Aviv from Quebec’s largest city on June 22. The carrier will commence thrice-weekly seasonal Montreal-Reykjavik flights on June 23, and will launch four weekly flights to Algiers from Montreal on July 1.
