The latest round of work is in addition to the refurbishments made to all of the hotel’s 951 guestrooms last year.

As part of the renovations, the hotel lobby swapped its traditional formal reception desk with a contemporary pod-style desk that afford greater privacy when checking in and and out. The hotel’s 28,000-square-foor (2,601-sqiuer-meter) Grand Ballroom was redesigned as well.

The property also added digital signage for meetings, which Hyatt said will save over 5,000 sheets of paper per year.
