DSC_0819Southwest Airlines and the union representing the company’s material specialists said they have agreed on final language for the tentative agreement between the two parties and that the union will now submit the agreement to its membership for a vote.

Details of the agreement were not released.

The contract covers over 300 inventory managers who deliver, store, and stock aircraft parts at Southwest.

Negotiations for the new contract first began in September 2013, according to a statement released by the union, and an agreement for a tentative new contract was reached at the beginning of March of this year.
