Adjacent to the bedroom was the bath area, which offered ample lighting and the hotel’s own bath amenities. There was also more than enough counter space for my toiletries, and the walk-in shower was quite spacious.

A nice amenity that juxtaposed many of the qualities of the historic hotel quite nicely was an Amazon Echo Dot, full of advice on what to do while in the city. You just turn it on, ask it a question, and are given the answers you seek.

The glass-topped desk in the living room was paired with an ergonomic chair, comfortable to sit in and work for extended periods of time. This, coupled with the complimentary and fast Wi-Fi, made working from the room an easy and enjoyable task.

The hotel also has over 4,000 square feet (371 square meters) of meeting and event space, including an executive meeting suite.

The property has an on-site beauty salon, open to both guests of the hotel and the public. Furthermore, the property , such as the waterfront, sports stadiums, and Pike Place Market.

Complimentary bikes make it easy for guests to explore the area, and I eagerly indulged in this my first afternoon there, venturing out into downtown Seattle on a bicycle (a helmet is both recommended and included). Luckily the uninsured lady from Los Angeles was nowhere in sight and I returned unscathed.
