Jet Airways and Virgin Atlantic announced that the two are expanding their existing codeshare agreement.

Beginning April 19, Jet Airways will place its code on Virgin Atlantic flights between London Heathrow and nine destinations in the United States, namely Atlanta, Boston, Newark, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington Dulles.

Jet Airways and Virgin Atlantic first began their codeshare partnership on flights in 2009. Under the agreement, Virgin has been able to place its code on Jet Airways flights between London Heathrow and both Delhi and Mumbai.

Tickets for the new codeshare flights will go on sale on April 19.
